Well, I did a search on the guy's name...
and it's photoshopped for sure, but I had to back it up with some proof...

photoshop?
got it from yahoo news, http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmp...4251977042.jpg
and another photo of it...
i don't know if it was faked. but still looks quite painfull! it seems he wasn't the only one who dislocated his elbow either, there was, Essmat Mansour of Egypt,
and Denis Gotfrid, of Ukraine that it happened too as well.
must be an active photoshop hacker out there somewhere
but on the otherhand, this years sports illustrated swimsuit model, Agata Wrobel of Poland, will grace the cover of next months issue

Troy said this has been traveling around the photoshop groups like crazy, and that 1/2 are believing it's real...he said there's an animated gif (or very short video) of it...however, he won the medal AFTER this occurred...would that be possible?

shirley, its only a dislocation, not broken. as long as there are no torn ligaments or cartilage, he most likely was just sore for alittle while afterwards. i myself have broken my elbow, and also have a permanent dislocated collar bone. when i broke my elbow, i didn't realize it for 2 days. when i dislocated my collar bone, it took about a week to recover, and that's with torn ligaments.

A few months ago there were some pics of a bodybuilder who's knees gave way while squatting something like 700 pounds during a photo shoot. Not for the faint of heart. He just kind of crumpled up under the weight.
