that is what I was trying desperately to avoid....

have you gotten any relief from PT or are you still in as much pain as you were in in Jan?

I am assuming it is a pinched nerve due to a disk moving when you fell....
how many fusions? Where... front or back entry? any arthritis forming?

Cath - thanks but no moving forward! I have permanent arthritis in the neck that gets persnickety when the weather changes or I stress out too much so the meds are to keep that under control. He says by the time my kids are in college I should experience that less and less... I laughed and said I'm only 34 - that's a LONG way off

Man work is insane again, and will be for a couple more days.

Well they just announced that Billy Mays had heart disease...who would have imagined that?

Few showers but hopefully our game will be on tonight. We beat those guys by a huge margin, but promised to come back with their new jerseys and beat us. Wait till they see Whiskey dog with a uniform...that will intimidate them.

Playing volleyball in wet sand will be just fine, we got some mudders.

front entry
2 fuses

this would have been a no brainer back in February

Ouch to everyone that has pain. Cynthia tore something in her quadricep during practice.

We beat a church team that we tore up last time to go 3-1 in sand volleyball. They kept the strongest players and brought in two ringers off the gold championship team and played tough. We won 25-21, 23-25, 16-14 in a close best of three. I think the intimidation from Whiskey's jersey was that five points we needed to get over the edge.

Hope you all have a fine evening!!!

Cynthia's in pain, too? Sick bay is filling up quickly around here. Oh, I'm sure that Whiskey's jersey turned the tide on the game.

It's supposed to be a cool 66º here tonight. Great sleeping weather.

We have muggy thunderstorms every evening and 80 degree days. Everything that should be turning brown is green, and the pasture out on the prarie has 3 ft high weeds.

Not sure who's weather this is, but it is not hot and dry.

Cynthia might not be playing volleyball for a bit, but with time off and some vitamin I who knows.

Ouch, KIA and Amy. I hope you both get some relief. I understand chronic pain.

Thanks for the well wishes everyone.

I am so much better than I was at this time last year - It's an inconvenience now as opposed to disabling. I am at about 80% which is great, but I am greedy and would prefer closer to 100%. My PT has been great about helping me prevent flair ups, they happen but it's usually when I am lazy about bio mechanics I do wonder how things will go when I don't have access to all the things that help control things once I have flared up....
