OK, kiddos, it's Wednesday
Coffee and cinnamon scones. Also scones with orange stuff on top.
I'm going over to Dad's in a sec. He is being transported to the orthopedist, and I will follow in my car. Hopefully the doc will see that Dad need to be in rehab and not his apartment.

Hope the doc makes the right call for your dad Cath.
Man I ended up at work at 6 am. We have a few issues at work to resolve and I need to bang out a procedure by 8 am.
Have a good day everyone.

Well, I called a HVAC guy that a local reefer knows and he said that replacing the whole unit would be un-needed and he could simply replace the compressor for around $500. THat sounds a lot better than a 1700 new unit.

Did I ever tell you about the time Brasky went hunting? Well anyway, Brasky decides he's gonna hunt down all four members of the Banana Splits. He stalks and kills every one of them with a machete. They all beg for their lives, except Fleagul.

The part was more expensive than he thought so he stated he could do it for 650. THe other guy said he could replace the compressor alone for around 1300 . This guy does it in the evenings off the books and is a friend of a friend kind of deal. As long as the new part has a warranty I think this would be the way to go. I will probably talk to my step father, he owns a few rental houses so i generally consult him on home repairs for a second opinion

Well I am off to meet my wife and her girlfriend moving Dumas today to his new digs. They are bringing hay that needs to get unloaded as well.
The guy that runs HR bought my wife and I tickets for the Army - Air Force game November 7th as a thank you for running all of the company sports programs. That was a nice gesture.

Good afternoon all!
Well the fair did not go so well today My daughter really wanted a certain bunny and just as we found out who was selling them, someone bought it. Lots of tears!

Well the horse got moved and that went okay. I had a work hysteria event to deal with and just now got home.
I trusted a couple of people that were doing something sneaky and had to take a bad rap. Oh well...it happens and once bitten twice shy. Next time all the details will be researched whilst we take a time out.
I really don't care for middle level managers by the way.
Have a nice evening everyone. Someone brought in homegrown turnips and I was the only taker. Hope they will roast okay with garlic butter and herbs with a pork loin. If not then oh well..dinner was free.

Bummer on the Drama at work Perry, I hate when i put 110% into a job and get stabbed by slackers. I am pretty sure HR frowns on horse whipping slackers

Nope our HR guy is awesome. He got me the tickets for swimming upstream and making the sports program happen, and he tells me to keep mixing it up. I am used to start up type companies and this is my first time at a company where folks are entrenched 10-20 years.
Luckily I am fairly good by now at quaffing a beer with a couple of Vitamin I's, dusting off and getting right back in the saddle. Just sucks that by the time you get good at that things start to hurt for no good reason and you need reading glasses.

It's kind tough to come in to an established operation, esp if you are a go getter, some peoples feelings get hurt easily, esp when somone doing their job calls attention to the fact that maybe they are just kinda coasting in their position. Thats one of the reasons I strpped up and took the swing shift gig at Erickson, less political BS among the 5 of us on nights.
