Watching Mcguire hit the home runs was fun. I don't know if he did the steroids or not. Probably did, like many others I'm sure. Living here in St. Louis, we heard a lot. I side with a guy that spoke up on the radio here while this HOF thing was going on. "If Mark Mcguire don't want to talk about baseball, why should we be talking about him and the HOF".
Now the Cards have some real players anyway: Puljols and Eckstein.

Who do you guys consider has the best swing in baseball? For me, right now it's gotta be Pujols, the guy is a machine.

Used to be Griffey...I think he is still up there, but Pujols is the man! I have to say too, that that catcher from Minnesota is pretty smooth too.

GO Reds.
What a sad state that has been for Cincinnati. Jr. came with pomp and circumstance and promises for "turning around the franchise" it would help if the general manager and front office understood the concept of pitching. You can't spend millions on guys to produce runs if you don't spend any money to put guys on your team to keep THE OTHER GUYS from producing runs.

Jeter isnt replaceable. And I wasnt comparing Jose Reyes' leadership skills to Jeters leadership skills. Reyes is the top SS in the league, period. But still, with that said, he doesnt bring the Leadership Jeter brings. Im comparing him based on the dollars per production only. You need SOME leaders, but when you have too many chiefs and not enough indians, you get.... well.... The current Yankees.
Prettiest swing.... Griffeys swing is still so pretty and smooth, and for some reason, I still like Barry's Swing. I love my Boy Manny Ramirez, Id have to go with his swing. But you cant argue with Vlad Guerrerros, swinging at every pitch within a zip code, still hitting .340 swing lol.

Do you think A Rod will remain a Yankeecome next season? There's that escape clause that comes in next year. Is there anybody else that will be willing to pick up that kind of expensive contract? Personally I think he'll stay, but it will depend greatly on his performance this year and how he feels treated.
