I've done Nothing! I plan to hopefully hook up with my friend (he has a table saw) this weekend and get started on the hood,.. I do still need to work out a good plan for it though,.. I have the ruff idea, but still working on details.

All takes time.
I need to hook up a fan or two I guess. The new pump is adding extra heat.

Fans are one of the biggest things I'm thinking about in my new hood,... I want 2, 20" box fans above the tank,.. and in the back I want a bank of about 10, quiet 12V fans to cool the tank, like I set Amy up with.
They will all be hooked up to a temp controller and if I'm lucky the huge box fans will never have to come on,.. but if my AC ever breaks I'll have them.
When the tank hits 80 Small quiet fans will come on to bring it back to 79
If it ever hits 81, the 2 huge box fans will kick on.

I think I will just need to put one over the tank surface. On the sump won't help much I don't think.

If I were you I would get one 6" clip on fan and blow it directally on the surface of the water of the main tank,.. You can take the clip off and make some fancy looking bracket or somethign to mount it to the wall if you wish. One will probably do it,.. if not add a second.
That's my vote anyway,.. cheap and easy
