I caught an opossum one time when I was a kid. I was lucky I didn't get bitten. Actually, now that I think about it, it was sort of a Crocodile Hunter-esque sort of scene.

Me(fake Australian accent): Wow! Will you look at the size of that bugger. He looks real mad! He's not going to like me one bit, but I'm going to catch him. Don't bite me mate. ...

Anyway, he escaped from the large galvanized steel tub that I put him in before I could release him back into the wild.

Opossums and chickens are cute when they're little babies and ugly as all get out when they're big.

Rick, you're such a softie. I like chipmunks too - they're neat little guys. I still brake for squirrels.

Possum babies are so cute. We had three that came by every night for grapes, which they peeled than ate. The neighbor lady got mad for some reason and had animal control take my pets away She said that they made a rustling noise in her hedge now and then. I stole her stupid lawn ornaments at the rate of one a week for two months as that was a paybackable offense.
