New Living Room shades
In an effort to better insulate my house, I installed...well, actually Bobbi, my sister, did the ladder work, and I was her trusty assistant.
First picture are the old blinds. The ones on the right are honeycomb shades..Symphony by Comfortex. Thanks to Kelli for the advice, etc for the new shades

Thanks, guys! They really are handsome in the room. Light reflects well off of them, and they soften the sound in the room. The wall covering is grass cloth, and these curtains provide a nice texture. The fabric has a lifetime guarantee, cords 1 year. I think that's what Kelli said.

Nice!! I love mine too.
Those type fo blinds are the only way to fly. http://www.justblinds.com/ is a good place to get them.

Looks great Cath! We are going to do away with the old aluminum blinds before it gets too hot. We were thinking about the faux wood like we had in the other house. Of course I have to get better windows too as these are the old aluminum framed ones.
