My other 'hobby' :)

Anyone want to guess what I'm having for dinner here in about 3 hours

I made the pit last year and it will hold 1/2 of a 230# hog...and despite the recommendation of my urologist , that is not water in the glass ...sometimes you just have to break the rules...

When the ribs come off they will be falling to pieces...hey, we are even allowed to have trampolines and there are plenty of adult beverages to go around! If you can't make it this time, when you bring 'pinky' Christmas eve, I'll have a rack ready to go with your six pack by the tank stand

Round two tonight. We put a pork shoulder on a rack over a pan, filled the pan with Coke and covered the whole thing with foil put it in the pit and smoked another rack of ribs. The piece de resistance however....we deep fried a rack in peanut oil...wow they are spectacular! Broccoli and carrot casserole, corn on the cob...mmmmmmmmmm
