More May be serious Cat problems

my little 3 month old Black kitten, Boo, is loosing fur. He lost a patch were the whiskers come out on the face, on the ears, inbetweend the eyes and ears, rear paws, and lower tummy. Any ideas? Should he C a Vet?

Not sure what is going on but I would definitely get him to the vet.

Any itching? scabs? possibly mange or an allergy I'd get him to a vet

I was thinking Mange myself, but it is hard to tell from the pic if there are scabs.

I had some friends with a cat that got ringworm and it lost quite a few patches of fur on it's body. My girlfriend actually wound up getting from the cats because she was living there at the time.

Not sure if that's what your cat has, but food for thought.....Oh and the non-prescription remedy according to the pharmacist was vagasil (no jokes people!).

Good luck to the little guy, cats are awesome creatures even though it seems many dislike them.

Well Im off to Cats exclusive Vets now... Ill Let you guys know the prognosis when I get back

My cat lost all his hair on his stomach a few years back during winter. We think it may have been an allergic reaction caused by the stuff they were using to melt the snow on the roads (some chemical byproduct that they havn't used since).

Right off I would say an allergy of some sort. Good deal on the Vet trip.
