Microsoft Money Program

OK i have been using MS Money for some time now. My new laptop came with it pre installed so i just transfered from my existing computer over to this one.

My question is my Credit Card and my Checking Acct are both from Wachovia. I use their websites to log in to see my statements and so on. But MS money has options that will allow me to do this all from their program without having to goto www.wachovia.com and www.wachoviacreditcard.com and so on. If i setup MS Money to do this then i can also set it up to make pay bill from my checking acct to my credit card from the program without having to goto their site to setup a bill payment.

Has anyone done this yet with MS money or is it a real pain in the butt? I can see its advantages and disadvantages. Also how secure do you think it is with the program logging into it vs me going to their site?

I think it would be nice not having to check three different things only log into MS money and then from their check both of my accts. The new MS money on my laptop is the MS money 2006. I was using 2002 before.

Well i used to use an excel spreadsheet but then i got a copy of MS money 2k once and i liked it then i got 2002 now this comp came with 2006. It is a nice program.

What will make it nice about it is when my credit card payment is due i normally log into the website and hit pay online then enter the amount then it transfer from my checking acct to the credit acct. But with MS money i could just hit the button on the program pay online and it will do it in the program and take care of the rest if i set it up that way. I just dont know if anyone has done this or how secure it is vs doing it the way i have been doing it in the past.

i have it but never really looked more in to it. i do it your way ..what type of security do they use for it?

I also along with all that other stuff need the security code on the back, that 3 digit one. I will take it from there, Oh yea your billing address also, If We are going to do thie lets get it right. What kind of balance You have is optional

Well i tested it out tonight. And it was working well but the problem i ran into is that my credit card and checking acct are both from wachovia they MS Money program got confused and was trying to use the same login for both and so on. Wachovia uses two different sites for their credit and checking.

So i just took it off until i can figure out how to fix that. It uses the same security as if you went directly to their site from my understanding.
