This is Percy, my constant and faithful companion, my sweetest one, for more than 15yrs. He passed away in my arms Jan. 13. I now live with one dog, Liza Jane, now 12 and blind/deaf, and the rest of the feline gang, Beauregard, Sweet William, Orion/Boodles, Meisje, Foxy Fae, Cassiopeia, and the youngest, Claw-dette. Don't have pics of all-they are too hard to round up and some just don't like each other.

Viv- still no luck on your picture
I love these pet pictures! Their personalities come right through.
Since I don't have another pet, I'll just tell you a funny story about 2 of my sister's cats..
One cat jumped up on top of the frig. The second cat checked out the path from the floor to the top of the frig, calculating his jump. My sister told him that it wouldn't work, not to try the jump... Well, you know how much that worked... The cat tried to get up to the top of the frig by trying to grab the refrigerator magnets! when that failed, he sulked into the next room ..... probably embarrassed that it didn't work.

Ya gotta give him credit for not only trying, but for the way he thought it through! Cats can come up with the most amazing rationalizations. Consider if you will; imagine you could leap like a cat and wanted on top of the fridge, too. Would you have even considered the magnats as possible toe-holds to get you there? That took a little reasoning there! Poor cat just didn't know about magnats!
One of the cats that traveled to TX with us when we moved out here, was a big Maine Coon. Ashley was easily able to stand on his back legs and reach up to the door latch, and open it. The doors back in NM had the handle with thumb latches. Ashley learned (on his own) to reach up and grasp the thumb latch with both front paws and pull down. The door would then swing open (with the help of a 20lb. cat swinging on it) and Ashley got what he wanted-out. When we moved to TX the doors all had twist knobs and Ashley could not make them work, no matter how he tried. It took him a while, but he kept watching, and sure enough, he finally figured it out and started opening the door again. He never could figure out the deadbolt, though.

Awesome dog Jeff. I've been looking around for an English Bulldog -- not very many up here.

okay....I've been trying to remember to post since I saw this thread last week.
Anyways...here's some pics of my Golden Twin Terror's:
First pic, Breņa (bren-ya). She doesn't normally look like this, this was just a classic shot.
2nd is just the cutest thing...her and her brother, the source for my name here, Skeety. They are unseperable...even when they sleep.
3rd pic is Breņa being used as a pillow by her brother.
