Thanks for sharing that Jeff. Considering the way I was raised, I found that photo a little shocking. I was taught to show respect for the flag and my kids have been taught as well.

As was I I have always thought that we live in the greatest country in the world. I feel our flag was earned by al the lives taken so that we may live as we do. These lives include My Uncle who was taken in WWII. Im sure there are may ppl out there who have had thier lives touched by ppl who have lost thier lives defending our country. I also feel there will be many more lost in the future. This Flag and what it stand are the reason we live as we do today. Im sorry if I am rambling but this country and its service members should be shown some appreciation and respect. My Dad taught me to stand up for what you believe in as did the Army. When I see ppl not standing for the flag or taking off thier hats it drives me crazy and I am not beyond telling them to do so. Yes even at the Mariners games and something as simple as a parade
