Leaving For Good!!!!!

I'VE HAD ENOUGH!!!! Getting the wife up at 6AM Saturday Morning and we are off to Ennis, Montana to check into our motel room and then back over the hill to Virginia City, Montana and then probably on Sunday go down to Yellowstone National Park and then to Custer's Last Stand Battlefield and over to Bozeman to see the pre-historic dinosauers at the museum!
Got the car all gased up, coolers are going to be filled tonight(pop of coarse ). Right Doug!! Tanks will be on their own for a couple of days but everything is on timers so should be fine although I may still have my son stop by and check on things! For the next 10 days only my wife and I will exist except the places we go too! Hope to get alot of pics to show you what trouble we got into in our quest to find fun!
We may have aged but the excitement is still in our hearts and the open road belongs to me and the horizens that lay ahead!! We will miss all of ya and wish you were along! hehe Johnny

Those very places are on the itinerary for FishGirl & I when we make our Western Tour next summer, or possibly the following year. I went through there twice when I was a boy and those areas are magnificent.

Just a quick story...

When I moved from Maryland to Oregon, my family and I drove cross country. We ended up in Yellow Stone on the 4th of July. I couldn't believe it... IT SNOWED!! Got up the next morning and our water hose for the trailer was froze solid. Looked like a giant green worm! That area is beautiful!! I want to take the kids there in a year or two. Have fun!

Well it is 6:17PM here in Missoula and we are getting anxious to get going(can't you tell). Trying to write everything down as not to forget anything(yeah right!).
It was 105 degrees in Livingston, Montana so we might run into some hot weather. Thank God for AC in our new car! Taking a large jug of ice water with us(well for Pat---Cold one for me ).
Jerel: Pat read your statement about making me behave! The reason she laughed is because she used to be the wild one and it was me making her behave!! True story!! That is why I was attracted to her!!!
