well we went to the jonathan richman show last night like planned...MAN it was good. and we totally got to hang out with jonathan after we kidnapped his drummer for an after-the-show-trip-behind-the-van

see we figured, kidnap the drummer, jonathan will come look for him...and he did! we whooped it up for about an hour, i had him sign my favorite marine fish book (i carry it in my purse. i know, i'm lame...and he has nothing to do with fishies, but i didn't have a scrap of paper, so now i've got something weird...)
anyone who wants to hear some great music should look into this guy. he was in a scene in the movie "kingpin" and apparently he's a huge part in the movie "something about mary" (i've never seen that one so i dunno, my hunny says he plays little songs between scenes)
but i can say he puts on a helluva show and he's a very friendly down to eath NICE person...we almost got him to go out on the town, but he was wiped out 'cos he played a pretty long set...oh well, maybe next time!!!!!!!!!
