jedi.mermaid's home for rescued cats
got a new addition to my growing number of cats today. this is #3...
my first cat, delia was rescued by me from a stupid friend who never fed her or payed any attention to her...she has become a great pet.
my second cat is my siamese baby phoenix. she was a gift from my friend lindsey who breeds siamese & knew i always wanted a siamese.
a couple days ago, lindsey asked if i could take an abandoned & abused black male neutered cat. her brother's roomate left him in their apartment when he moved last week.
he's about 3 or 4, and...this is sad...the only name he was ever called was "idiot-face".
i guess i'm grateful he's at least fixed, but if i ever meet this clown that hurt him, i'm gonna have a word or two with him....
so here's my new cat "idiot-face". better name & better pics to come...poor little dude...i like him already.

heh idiot-face, reminds me of my mother's old cat, flea bag. she adopted it after it had been living in her back yard and under the house for a while. poor thing didnt have a tooth in her head, fur never looked clean, and her tail must have been broken a couple times because it had a permenant kink in it. sweetheart of a cat tho. she had it a couple years before she had to be put down.

i'm sure you can come up with a better name than "idiot-face", jedi. i think "smudge" is a good name, and better suited for a black cat.
since you like cats, here's a pic of one of mine, this one is named "Grumman". he's named after the patch logo for the grumman f-14 tomcat. he's about 4 yrs old, had him since he could fit in my palm, and now weighs in at a meager 16lbs and is still fully clawed.
have fun with your new pet!

his new name is vader...darth vader, but i'll call him vader for short
currently him and my female black cat delia are fighting up a storm, but i'm sure it will pass. and the kitten phoenix is just staring in awe LOL
