Blackbaord is a learning institution communictions system for lots of Universities for testing, notes, lectures, etc for number of college level programs with on-line learning sections. If you load Vista and use IE 7.0 for your browser the discussion section, when posting new responses to threads the text box for your enty will not appear. A real problem if you're a student and there is a test you need to take or homeork q & a... Not to mention how frustrating it becomese for instrustors trying to post info or study aids and the students cannot respond.
After many frustrting hours of serching for a Vista patch (there is NOT one), the workround fix can be found here:

OR to use Firefox as your browser. I understand that similar issues may exist with Windows XP and IE updates to 7.0 as well. Supposedly there will be a patch in Blackboard's server upgrade this summer that will fix this issue, I hope this helps some of you avoid the dig
