Just wondering, i have some questions regarding anemia. My grandmother was hospitalized earlier this week and was diagnosed with a low red blood cell count, and underwent 3 units of blood transfusions. So id like to know any and all there is to know about anemia. They do not know what caused the anemia as of right now. Testing is still going on. Possibly something with the spleen?

Well its definitly hemolytic anemia, but theres just so many causes. I absoultly HATE not knowing exactly whats going on at all times ya know, so it just kills me not knowing why this has happened. There are so many causes that are possible. Hopefully they know soon.
