Holidays are overrated
we went for a run this morning, and wound up going thru a parade route
as we were coming back, the parade we ending up, and all the folk were walking away
2 guys started to get into an argument over what lane they were driving in

I guess some people can only get along for about an hour

Happy Independence Day all!

Me and the wife went to the zoo today since it was a little cooler. Now I am home and probably going to work on school stuff the remainder of the holiday.

Did I ever tell you about the time Brasky went hunting? Well anyway, Brasky decides he's gonna hunt down all four members of the Banana Splits. He stalks and kills every one of them with a machete. They all beg for their lives, except Fleagul.

Back from work, kind of a slow day. Most people headed into town to hang with friends then go see the Firework show at the fairgrounds, good to be home

Will there magically be enough for all of us, KIA? I'll bring blueberries...

Bob and I had a great 4th. We paddled around in a paddle boat at the lake where the party was. And the Guinness cake that I took didn't last long

See you all around lunch time, Eastern.

Morning everyone. Hope no one is too hungover.

It turned out to be just Danica, Cynthia's vet assistant. Dinner turned out great, and I made up a mango salsa to go with the grilled meat that worked out. Now if only that recipe got written down.

Today is finishing the Jeep reupholstery and maybe beginning the gut the living room to put the floors down project. My wife is a little apprehensive as the paint and flooring will take three weeks total, but gotta start sometime.

One good thing here Doug. Everything has been taken to the thrift store or given away that we don't need. I loaded up some tools for Danika just now. She gets Cynthia's 9.6v drill and other stuff.

We don't roll with puny tools at Noob Manor.

In sad and scary news around here..

http://www.goupstate.com/article/200...th-victim-dies

Gaffney is about 20 miles north of here. The first man that was killed, Kline Cash, was a well-respected peach farmer, in a line of 7 generations of peach farmers in the Upstated.
