Incommunicado
I may not respond to threads or PMs as I am leaving for Cancun until the 16th for my honeymoon. I will have internet access I believe but I may be rather occupied. I will try to post some pictures when I get back.

Did I ever tell you about the time Brasky went hunting? Well anyway, Brasky decides he's gonna hunt down all four members of the Banana Splits. He stalks and kills every one of them with a machete. They all beg for their lives, except Fleagul.

Have a great time.
Mexico is kind of a crazy place these days. We were there 2 years ago and there were "federalies" with machine guns stopping cars at random all along the main road. I have heard that the drug problems have grown alot since then.
We were about an hour south of Cancun in a place called Tulum. If you are interested, you can visit the Myan ruins in Tulum. Its not very expensive and it is just amazing to step back into time and see how they lived. If you do go to the ruins, they have a great little beach there. So bring towels and your camera.
P.S. DONT DRINK THE WATER. We even used bottled water when we brushed our teeth. Montazuma's revenge is no joke.

We are staying at a pretty large resort but we are going to book a tour to some ruins. The resort and airfare was a wedding gift
My wife called the resort and suddenly hung up. I asked her what was wrong and she replied "they answered the phone in Spanish!"
I nearly cried laughing..

The Chitzen Itza ruins outside Cancun are awesome. If you want to see your reef tank in its natural setting take the ferry to Cozumel, look at this link: http://www.scubacozumel.com/ or http://www.coral.org/sergio_sandoval, book a resort dive or snorkel trip, tell Sergio, 'Bobbi sent you', and be prepared to be overwhelmed and amazed. The Reef there is the best. I don't have any awesome reef pics on Photobucket but if you want to see pics, just say so, and I will happily upload a few. First trip I did 19 dives in 2 weeks, second trip I did 17 dives in 2 weeks ... every dive is different and breathtakingly beautiful. All three pics you see on my page are Cozumel.

ahh, diving in cozumel.
I watched my wife drift to 130' deep while I stayed at 90' and was making all the noise I could to get her attention
she only realized what was happening when her dive computer started to beep at her

O M G!!! Guess that shortened your dive and I bet she pays attention to where her buddy is at all times now. Lucky she was wearing a puter. BB is not a fan of dive mishaps.

Unless you live in California and it is "Press 2 for English".

Congrats, Jeremy! How nice to go there for your honeymoon.
I am jealous. That part of Mexico is absolutely marvelous.
...biting tongue regarding all the "marriage:-it's-not-a-word,-its-a-sentence..." comments.

Back in the day, they had no dive puters, heck half my dives were with out BC and the dive tables on a string around my wrist

And trying to keep that string from getting tangled with the rubber hose to your helmet.
