I wish to rant and rave...

Okay, well, this week I had to go back home to Colby Ks to house sit for a friend. While here I am also trying to get more stuff done on mom's house so I can get rid of it. (for those who don't know, my mom died last November). Anyway...I wish to rant cause I am in a FOUL mood.

1) Saturday, one of my upper back teeth broke, so I now have a sharp edge left and it is cutting up my mouth, so, I have not been able to eat much since Saturday cause it hurts to bad. (seeing a dentist later today)

2) the dogs were up barking and whinning all night long, so I did not get much sleep last night

3) I go to mom's house today, and find that I have NO electricity! So, I go to see what is up, and they never received my last check in Feb. So, I have been disconnected. So, I had to pay last month's bill, this month's bill, and a $20.00 reconnection fee!

4) With no one living in the house, and the cat gone, I am finding mouse droppings everywhere! (I bought defcon for that)

5) I am having to do all of this by myself, and I am feeling like I am at my wit's end.

6) And, in the past few days, I have had 3 nose bleeds.
So, to sum it all up..i am tierd, hungry, cranky, in pain, frustrated, lonely, and depressed. Wish writing this helped..oh well. Hope everyone is happy in TRT land. Miss being arond my aquarium..it always offered comfort as I stared into it.

Gosh, Jeremy, we'd invite you over for dinner if you were a little closer! Seriously, it's not fun, it's not easy, and it never goes without gobs of hitches to take care of someone's house and things. I took care of the entire estate sale when my mom passed away...my father was two states away at his sister's house and of no help--too grief-stricken to help or make decisions. Then my brother had to take care of the sale of the house. Many hitches, very depressing, and numerous little expenses along the way...this was in 1980 and seems like yesterday still, and so sad still. I feel for you, and hope the silver lining shines through for you soon.

You're always welcome to call and vent. We're here... and as soon as you get back, I'm feeding you. (I have a turkey breast in the fridge if that sounds good. If not, I'll whip up a pan of lasagne or something. Soft.) Name your dish... The Italian mamma in me has to nurture with food. (And don't even mention that skinny husband of mine!)

When will you be back?
Hang in there,
Danielle

Jeremy;

Hang in there! I know how hard it can be. We took care of a good portion of things when my husband's mother passed away. We were able to get all taken care of at her house but now all her things are in our garage and I can't get my husband to sort through it.

At least you are taking positive action!

I hope the dentist was able to fix you up and that you are feeling better soon.

Alice

Danielle, I will be back on Thursday, but then I have my best friend's wedding this weekend. I am just very thankful that so far, there has been no swelling from yanking the tooth. The whole top part of the enamel just fell off. Looked very weird. So, now my mouth is still sore, but then time for different reasons. I just can't win. heh heh But, at least there is no swelling. That is all I need is to have swelling and puffy cheeks while in the wedding! heh heh

*feels very very tierd*

For those who have had wisdom teeth pulled, what can I eat? I kind of fear everything since I don't want to get food lodged up in the socket. Any recommendations? I am pretty hungry, and it is killing me to know that there is a pizza in the fridge screaming for me to eat it. heh heh

Soft foods, but nothing with bits that could get lodged in there. (yes, that means Salsa...)

When I had mine pulled, I slept for 3 days straight. But when I woke up, I subsisted on mashed potatoes, Taco Bell bean burritos (I was in high school...) and Chocolate Steak&Shake milkshakes. Pretty much anything soft.

Hang in there,
Danielle
