I'm hoping my Stargazers will start blooming soon. These are pictures from last year.

Thanks Casey. Stargazers are my favorite flowers. At my first wedding, I had them everywhere, in every single flower arrangement. Don't think my parents where impressed. The flowers cost more than the rest of the wedding expenses combined.

If you need yard time, I will sacrifice some of mine just for you

My front shrubbery needs trimming badly, and I am getting ready to cut a trail into the back acerage: Think of yourself as Daniel Boone with a chainsaw.

we're looking to open a nature trail to the back acerage...

btw, thanks for the comments kelli, I think this year for the pig roast we're going to shoot the fireworks down front near the road so folks can sit up on the lawn near the house and not have to crane their necks to see them. Do you think Violet will like them this year???? If not, maybe she will watch them from one of the front rooms inside the house, at least then it won't be to loud!

I hope so! she enjoyed watching the fireworks on the 4th of july but they were across the lake so it wasn't really loud. Watching them from the front will be sweet this year !! Plus we won't have to worry about the burn pile
