Very cool! Congrats!
I had an issue with my laptop a few weeks ago, I couldn't get it to charge, once the battery died it wouldn't turn on. So I took the power pimple apart and inside one of the wires had pulled out I used to solder for a living so easy cheap fix!!!

Glad you fixed it Jena.
The power supply went out on an HP that was only a year old. Cost maybe 55 bucks for a new one but saved the computer and it was easy to replace.
Good job doing all that yourself.

I researched it a little on line and guess they had a real crappy power supply vendor. There were like a billion hits on this on google.
Anyway glad you are up and running again
oops had to edit that...a bad word made it through the filter

I can't really explain the power pimple, without explaning the power brick.
The power brick is a power supply built right into the plug, a huge brick like thing often used on small electronic gagets that ensures that if you plug it in, you will waste the outlets on both sides of it.
The power pimple is when you have a normal plug, but the brick is half way down the cord.
