Just was wondering if any one can offer any help on things like , high/low side connections(color of hose, and which to hook up to) and what kinda numbers should i been looking for when i'm done,,,
Like i said , i have done this stuff b4, on homes and auto ac unit, so i'm not that new to it, just need a refresher course on it is all,,,
I'm using the ol fashioned freon, not converted over yet,,,will prob replace HVAC system soon, just need to get this unit cooling for right now,,,,
Had to leave my MH lighting off today,,,,,
So if anyone has info to help me out that would be much appreciated,,,,
working 3-11' tonite, and will check back in after work tonite,,,
i plan of getting the tank and gauge set tomorrow morning to perform the work,,,
Thanks in advance!

Lemme ask our maintenance crew where I live this afternoon. We have some slow leak in ours so they come out twice a year to do it. I have only done cars so I had no idea what hooks up to what for the house unit.
Hector is a pretty cool guy. I should have advice in a couple of hours.

Well they said all the systems are different and both hoses for their recharge thingy were red (in my limited warehouse Espanol). You are on your own big fella.
They have internet forums though for everything and there are probably folks like us that talk about goofy stuff like that, and there are a couple of fix it sites associated with the fix it channels on TV.
Sorry, thought this would be an easy one, but I had no clue what those guys were saying.

Luckilly enough you have a freon based system; very most efficient coolant known, but unfortunately is a CFC; and you can't buy it from any companies. Maybe your HVAC friend knows some people that bought out the last supplies of freon a while back.

Hrmm...something else to smuggle in next trip to Tijuana along with the pure vanilla extract and antibiotics (and Baileys, since a certain librarian spilled all ours).

Sorta Rick, It took some freon, just not knockin down the temps as well as it used to/should,,Not that this is gonna help in the cooling dept. but in the AM i will be installing the capacitor "jump-start" deal my buddy gave me to put on,,just for helping a tired compressor to start up,,,
Went to Lowe's, Menards etc today,,,looked at some of the HVAC units they had on display, the wife thought the price on 'em was 3x what they actually go for,,,,so that's a plus,,,,(less $ than what she was thinkin')
Thanks for the PM Rick,it helped out a lot!
