I have to adjust my timers, it's getting darker early.
Just found out a Halloween shop on Kneeland St in Boston is going out of business. The building is owned by the Hospital where I work, they doubled their rent!! So I'm going over tomorrow to see what they have.
They also rent very high quality costumes, so have to see what they are getting rid of

I'm hoping to buy a web cam & set it up, I won't get it setup for this year.
I just bought a Gemmy Skeleton Rapper for $21 from Building #19. The wires had been cut & the power pac was missing - 9v 1500mA. I connected the wires back together & plugged in a 9v 800mA power pac & he works!!
BUT, I can't figure out how to extend him to the full 5'
He compacts down to 3' & his head comes off for storage
He sings, he dances, his head & arms move, motion detector works
But I can't figure out how to extend him!!
Help!!??

I'm going to have to move him, every time I catch a glimpse of him I think someone is standing on the front porch

Yeah, we have winds gusting to 30 mph too, at least its drying things out
The stakes are holding the tombstones in, I secured them a little tighter
I had 3 blow loose yesterday. I let the inflatables light up last night, they held up pretty good in the wind
I'm finishing my porch floor today, then I can decorate & arrange stuff on the porch

I need more AA batteries!!
I think I need 27 in all for everything that talks or moves or jiggles
I have 20 rechargeables that I am robbing from remote controls, camera & wireless mice/keyboards & everything else for Halloween night
But I need 7 more....so the wife is going to pick some up
I need to see if I can rewire some of these to use powerpacs
I think I have a 5v power pac that could supply the stuff that uses (3) AA's - that would be 4.5v VS 5v supplied
I'm trying to check other stuff before I purchase to make sure it uses a power pac instead of batteries

The front outside light was out, would it be:
#1 The new timer I installed
#2 The wiring
#3 The bulb
Of course the bulb was the last thing I checked...and it was the bulb
So now a red bulb is in for Halloween
I actually wish I had a larger porch now to decorate more
Very crowded out there - I have 7 decorations out there that react to motion or sound. Should be inresting when they go off
Black lights: 20w flourescent, 75w spotlight, (2) 75w bulbs
I have another red spotlight to go out for the front of the house
And another strobe light to go out
I had use some super glue for minor repairs
I also bought (2) pairs of "glow in the dark" pants from Building #19 for $1 each. One is white, the other is blue - should light up under black light
And a large queen size sheet for a large ghost to hang from a tree
I also put the glow in the dark skeleton in the front inside door - all glass
Tested my skull with microphone - it works - changes your voice
I can't find the (2) spotlights that I bought for Christmas. I'll have to put them in another box to use for next year
I need to run a speaker out to the graveyard for the music
Another speaher will be near the front of the house for the TV-DVD scary show - have to test that
Wind is still kicking up outside, glad I don't have enything to put up
Have to see how all the new stuff looks tonight
I have a string of orange C-9 lights to put out too
It's getting dark already
