Halloween 2007
Well since we are new at this better get a head start and get going on things. The first idea is doing a chair dragged across the floor sort of like Poltergeist. I was thinking of just using a motion sensor with a time delay chip that would fire off a servo motor and a pulley with clear fishing line off a controller.
There is a guy with guts cycling and he talks and moves around. He costs about 4 grand to buy, but for 700 bucks I can get a 1 1/2 axis controller and use a computer to make our own for not much more and run him since he will appear out of the closet inside in the bathroom. A couple of servo motors and a linear actuator and a couple of sound thingies with lights off some relays and it is good enough for a quarter of the price. I have to figure out how to get thick fake blood to pump well but think that a cat pan with a pond pump will work well if there is a way to keep the prime in the tubing. If the liquid is thick enough it wont spray everywhere and might drip down a guide line.
I am hoping Timmah and Scuba might have ideas on battery powered motors for things like the outside ghost she has maybe powered off a windshield wiper motor.
We are getting storebought cadavers. For 400-550 bucks they are too good to pass up and are perfect. There is a couple we picked out that will be perfect for our wedding reception/halloween party. I think it is from the place Tim got the head.
Tims send me those plans when you can...game is on brotha.
Any tips on replicating lightning? The spray and thunder with bright lights is pretty easy.

Hey, I'm not done with Christmas yet!!!
I'm ordering a couple hundred LED strings (over 10,000 lights)
I bought a Radio transmitter & will be broadcasting music next year
I'm also going to start animating the lights
I have to, I have over 120a of Christmas decorations
I'm actually going to be putting out red & blue lights for Halloween
That will save me some time on Christmas decorations
I'm going from 15,000 lights in 2006 to maybe 60,000 for 2007

HEHEH.
i was just thinking about a halloween thread too!
Perry i will send you the planns . having a bit of trouble withthe burner. i will be replaceing the tower once the refund come in..
Yes buy a bunch of the wiper motors. you will most likly have to open it up and rewire it so it will have a continous feed. ( gota remove the board inside it). if not it will burn out ina few minutes of testing.
the pneumatics are pretty easy. screen door opener. but you have to look at how the valve is and how to add a nipple to it so you can give it air.
you are talking about the guy in texas arent you..
he does great work. but oy oh bioy he is $$$$$..
check frightland and give a few days i will give you or post a bunch of links for ya. also check out creepcrafters.com , they have a nice DIY section.
i will be starting a guillutine in the next two weeks or so..
