I brew coffee that can stand up and slap you in the face, when needed.

One of my best memories from residency was the day they turned the attending physician lounge in the cafeteria into a Starbucks. The residents probably paid for the place to be built in six months with all the coffee sales. A buddy of mine and I came up with our own special formulation that we ordered everytime we were post call. It came to be affectionately referred to as "The Red Eye".

Starbucks has one that is orange flavored right now and if you have them add vanilla to it, it is suppose to tast like a dreamsickle. That is what my sister in law and mother in law say

my hubby has to take his cup while its in its first few minutes of brewing (before the grounds start giving out) so he can have it as strong as he likes it. When he makes the coffee in the AM i have to 1/2 and 1/2 it with water!

i USED to drink VERY strong coffee, no matter how much cream you put in it was still very dark, but too much of that for too long and now i get physically sick to my stomach.

that sounds pretty good!

we have a couple starbucks up here, but i don't know if its the starbucks ingredients, or the workers' fault, but i havn't been very impressed. Service is ok, but the drink quality...not so good to me.

Good morning all! I"m up early for some reason, guess I may as well head in to work a bit early too, just because I can't think of anything better to do at the moment.
