goodbye john entwhistle :(

john entwhistle died yesterday of a heart attack....poor dude.

he was going on tour again, too...and i woulda seen him again, and i woulda been deaf for three days after again

i wonder if jimmy hendrix is now using him for his bass player up there....?

goodbye john entwhistle, you will be missed.

Oh man I heard about this about 3 hours after winning a chance at Who tickets promotion on local radio station
I had seen the Who a few times before Keiths passing and after, man I am feeling my age

doug i know what you mean, i definately woulda seen him again...

the weirdest thing is that about an hour before we found out he had died, we met some dude in the park & we were talking to him about the show we went to last year & how kick-bum he was.....

then we came home & heard it on the radio

maybe the surviving members of the who & the beatles will form a new group, a SUPERGROUP...they've got the exact right number of people, the bassist, the drummer, the guitarist & singer....the BeaWhotles!!!

(actually keith moon's son has been playing drum's for ringo on his tours, so maybe it's not so far-fetched....)

i smell a crappy CBS special

The cool thing is they are not interupting the tour because of his death. As stated in a news release "He would not want us to stop haveing fun at what we love doing" They Borrowed a bass player from another band. What a honor this new bass player has to step into the spot he ruled for so long a time. What pressure he must feel. The band must have alot of confidence in him to just say Ok man now its your job.
