Kinda overcast with a chance of rain...mid 70's..very comfortable

Hi Bob and drew. We finally got some much needed rain yesterday. Temps are supposed to be a little cooler for the weekend.
I'm going to try to spend a few hours working on the barn between my kids sports.

Good Morning!
It's going to be a beautiful day - 65 now, with a high around 80. Going to try to work on the house. We also found out that we need to buy a new AC system. (Condensor, coil and everything.) Man, I could buy a reef with that much moola! I knew condensors were pricy, but the coil?? Anyway, might as well get a new furnace too. Guess we aren't going to be making any big reef purchases for awhile.

good morning everyone, my wife just went out to get a bigger cage for our 2 zebra finches. they laid an egg overnite, my wife didnt see it until it was too late (she was cleaning the cage) so ill spend the day keeping her from beating her self up over it. other than that im relaxing today

I've been warned by my AC guy that my 16 yo system is on its downhill curve. It's just a matter of time but there's a big bullet to bite in the future.

Speaking of "cats", FishGirl is now certified as an official "Junior Zookeeper" at our friends' animal park! Yesterday was their Grand Opening and she participated in the ribbon-cutting with the Mayor and other dignitaries, holding the now-famous
"Jamani"; appeared in their show; and got air time on three different local tv new shows with the cub! (Yes, I taped it!)
Otherwise, nothing much ever happens around here!

stupid rainy day here in portland, maine....
gotta try & drag one of my clients on a bus out to the mall to buy a couple tubes of aquarium putty....hopefully they'll go willingly without a bribe..
although, i am having a good hair day, so all hope is not yet lost |
