Golf Club Ebay Link
Here is a link to the Nike Slingshot OSS golf clubs. I am almost sure I am going to buy these from this guy. I want regular shaft, right hand clubs. Anyone see anything wrong with these that I missed. To me it looks good. His feedback is great. The only thing it didn't say was shipping but if you look in his Ebay store his policy is the purchaser pays actual shipping charges.

The golf store near me is selling this set for $700

Nevermind about checking. I bought them. I was waiting for the guy to answer a few questions for me and he did.

It looks like you only get 8 irons? generally a set will consist of 9 irons so that will decrease the selling cost. So that is about 60 bucks a club - so figure an extra 60 or so to fill out your set (an "attack wedge" will generally be insufficient for bunker play). Though that missing sand wedge is the one club I generally don't insist has to be a matching part of a set, especially with so many manufacturers specializing in wedges to choose from. Much less important to match than, say, a 9 iron.
definitely better than what your store had to offer, but it just caught my eye.

I think you are okay. I am a short game junkie and have a separate dual wedge, and a Ping sand wedge in addition to the pitching wedge that came with my Titleist DCI's. Choices of wedges as well as the putter are so subjective you just gotta hit what you like, and who cares if they match the rest of the set. The uses are so varied it is not just a matter of matching the loft for the range.

These sets only come with the 4-AW. Some sets of different clubs you get a 3,4,5,6,7,8,9,PW. Nike Slingshot OSS sets come with 4,5,6,7,8,9,PW,AW. They don't come with a sandwedge. If you go to a pro shot you'll get the 4-AW for $699 I looked before I bought. I can't hit a 3 iron worth crap anyways. I use a seperate sand wedge anyways. Im not sure if Nike even makes a Slingshot OSS sandwedge.

Let me rephrase this. You can get a set of 3-PW. You can also order 4-AW. Sand wedges do not come with this set no matter which one you buy. I don't like a 3 iron and so the 4-AW is fine for me. That is the majority of the sets I have seen even on regural online retailers. If I want to get a 3 later I will but I need to shop around for the sandwedge and test them out.

I carry a two and three iron...and only two woods. Guess I am the only person that prefers to hit a long iron over even a three wood, just look goofy on the teebox sometimes.
There is a saying though...only God can hit a one iron, which I would agree with.

Photos of your first day on the course with the new clubs are mandatory for reef geekology....

Im hitting the simulator this Friday. The clubs here are from a Golf Course in MA. This guy must be the Pro or someone who works at the course. The shipping label from NIKE to the course then the guy shipped them to me. That must be how he gets them so cheap. Is that legal?

No it is illegal and you are in so much trouble now
So remember on the first tee no jitters, only this entire forum is going to watch you tee off
