I think I am going to be suffering with the two cameras I have. I love my MavicaFD100 but it doesn't do a close up worth a crap. The Mavica is the one I took pictures of my 12G with:

The other is a Kodak Z710. My wife saw it at Walmart, my wife wanted it, my wife made me pay for it

I have decided to wait on my rock, so that I can cycle the tank but I wanted to go take pictures of it so I could try to figure out what all is on it. Might hijack my wifes Kodak tomorrow and sneak out of the house.

i have the camera.. i just need a better lens for taking micro shots. i have nikon d70. nice camera. just can't afford the lenses for it.. lol. thats the cheapest lens i want to.. i also want to get the hardware and software so i can put the camera on a tripod and hook it to the computer. take pictures that way. it seems like when i am trying to get pics everyone hides. this way i may get a good shot

I have thought about a tripod for my wifes. She wants one. The camera will take a video. I can video the tank for about 30 minutes on a battery with it (Or I think thats about how long), then put the video on my computer and whack it apart. I am a lot better with my computer than I am with SW tanks
That could get expensive for me at 13 dollars a battery though. Wish they made rechargeable batteries for hers. Mine has a rechargeable battery.

Randy you kinda need the rock in to cycle - otherwise you will just cycle again when you add the rock

Your Mavica should have a Macro setting - it's the tulip icon If I could figure out how to turn on my Kodak camera I'd be able to tell you if it's the same icon
