Thing is ... there wasn't any bubble algae anywhere in the tank, but unfortunately there might be in the near future. The drain pipe came right out of bulkhead on me and all the water and BA I had scraped off drained into the sump and went everywhere. I tried to do a partial water change in the sump and siphon out what I could but I'm sure I missed some (not to mention all the stuff from the ones that popped and were in the water from the overflow).

Somebody go outside and have some fun on my behalf.

I tried too have fun on your behalf but it was more a hassle than fun. I was outside most of the day trying to have a yard sale but hardly anyone came by (too busy enjoying the weather elsewhere I guess) plus, I spent alot of the time trying to keep the 2 lil ones from hauling all the stuff somewhere else.

Hmmmm, you should have come and browzed around in our stash. Probably is an old RIO pump in there somewhere (or something similar)

i still need a pump/powerhead for tank cleaning. and one for a DIY skimmer.. i went for water and snails. ended up getting water, rock, and a pump. i need to see what i want to really do with the pump since it doesn't have all the pieces to it. its just the pump not the hanger or nozzles... or even the piece to adjust exit flow.
