I really think the actual price of the barrel of oil is controlled and set; but is the taxes each contry aplies to it that makes a diference. I may have to trade in my full size pickup for a small 4 cilynder.

The real problem I think is We just keep going to the pumps and paying the price. The cost of a barrel of oil is one thing but the high cost of gas is the oil companies, They are showing great profits that are on the raise all the time. They are ripping us off. JMO

Its pretty bad. When i first bought my jetskis i thought they were expensive. What i didnt think a whole lot about at the time was the $75 dollar bill it costs to ride them for a day, NOT counting the $35 or so to get there. Dont get me wrong...its a nice luxury, but its a little disgusting...................My grandmother would roll over in her grave and slap me for accepting that and continuing to do so...........

Boy, seeing all this makes me thankful for the good bus/lightrail/bike trail system out here...... The sad part is having a car would only cut 10 minutes off the time it takes me to bike home......

As of today, its $1.179 per liter for regular, and $1.339 for 91 octane which I have to use in my bike.
Being that there's 3.79 liters in a gallon, for regular, we're paying $4.47 per gallon, and for the good stuff, $5.07 per gallon.
Really happy I don't pay for my fuel in my rig at work! I use on average about 320 liters a day, at around $.95 per liter!

The range here in Wisconsin is from $2.99/gallon to $3.24/gallon. Here in Menomonie it's at $3.05.
I figured out that it costs me $13 a day to drive to work and back! I think I need to get a job in my city! Or, a different vehichle.

Here's a link for a gas price comparison map (US), if anyone is interested in looking at it.

I'm glad that I don't live in the red zone areas! Ouch!

I live smack dab in the middle of central oregon......in a higher priced square than most of the rest of the state. I knew they were out to get ME.
