Ok I am looking to get a new Nintendo, X-box or PS or whatever for the kids and ME!
i am long removed from these as my last system was Super Nintendo (which I love).....however it is now broken due to someone pulling it down to the floor and crashing. I haven't been a big fan of the new games or systems thus never upgraded....plus lack of time.

Anyway what system would have better suited games for kids. 5 & 6 years old??? They enjoyed the Mario Bros and other games like that w/ the SNES....so what system and or games should I be looking for.

The have a V-Smile but are outgrowing that.

Get a used X-box and send it to me with a bigger hard drive (150 -300 gig). and i can get it modded for you (costs $50-60).

the mod will also add all the nintendo games through the nintendo 64, plus all the sega and capcom games. then you can also load x-box games on it too. plus it will play dvd's and stream movies, music and pictures from your computer.

will a new X-box work as well? Also how do you play old NES & SNES games? Do you actually need the game and is there an adapter or are the loaded to a disk to play on it?

Also have a home theater system w/ 7.1 surround if this plays into a buying decision!

My nephew just got the new Wii.And that's cool to.wireless controls and when you swing it swings the guys bat,or you can thow,reel a fish in and bowl,tennis and tons of other things and he said you can use any of the old games on this new one too!

no adapters needed, everything runs on an emulator and right off your hard drive. new or old xbox will be fine.
