fruits and veggies?
i am getting confused with the weather now adays...
aweek ago only seeds were out ( of course we had snow and ice too) but yesterday strawberrie plants and starter tomateo plants were out at the home depot.
when do you all start them in the garden....
and yes Casey i know you have them going already

Dunno about where you are but people around here say April 15 and no sooner.
Back home they wait til the May 24 long weekend - (it falls the weekend closest to May 24... Queen Victoria's b'day).
Anything before that there's a risk of frost.
Since you're between here and there, I'd say somewhere in between - but don't listen to me - I look at a terrestrial plant and it dies

Brooke started planing a bunch of seeds a couple of weeks ago, but inside, here the last frost could be May 9ish. go to burbee.com ?

hehe Jon, i did not think about burbee.. there is a chance of some frost in a day or two ( 34f) .
i will be starting the seeds for stuff today ( in a planters box).
the broccoli seeds say starting march is fine..

Tim, I got some free fertalizer if you want any...all the horse manure you can cary.  We've got a few friends that come up and get a trash can full each spring.

I was told to wait until mid May here. Toto we are not in California anymore.
