The whole idea of renting it out for a bit first would scare me, regardless of who it is.

I gotta agree, there is just way too much to go wrong with a rental, esp if you are not really set up to have a rental property

Afternoon everyone.

Well got a heat stake press thing all put together after getting the parts anodized. So many people were freaking about it when the box came in that I took it apart without photographing and labeling everything.

It is just like Lego's...used the whole box and it sort of looked like the picture on the outside. I made something anyway.

Tonight is a nice flight dinner at our local nice little dining establishment. It is always four star and tonight the first course is crab, the second course is ummm crab and to follow up the third course is...yep more crab. Three different kinds made three different ways!!!

Just ordered my wife's birthday present for next week, checked in on TRT and there is still an hour to kill at work.

Whiskey

the concept is that it's a purchase agreement, they just rent it for a year before they buy it
the sticking point so far is they don't seam to understand that they get nothing back if they don't follow thru

Hey Doug! Well - I've been told that I understated my experience with computers, and I've been given 2 more sensitive clients - so I would say that it's going really well

I'm enjoying this - I think it's something I could do really well with.

It's a little scary that they have the option not to follow through is what I mean.

It would be really cool to get that house sold though!

They really backed off on the forecast but there is snow and other crud coming the next couple of weeks. Tomorrow is cold and windy but passable...looks like Sunday is a much finer day to ski and get the final video clips of the season for our first movie production.

So I decide to rent a Mantis tiller today to till up my garden and put down some grass seed. I'm just seeding the places I burnt off the warm season grass and the tiller does pretty good on this. Of course it is dethatching as much as it is tilling, I don't need a deep till for grass seed. THen I get to the garden, which was tilled last year, rounduped and burnt off, and broken up with a shovel. THis is not a hard job. I bet I have restarted the *%$# thing 30 or 40 times and stopped to clean the tines a dozen. I go to fill it back up and it's a fricking unleaded motor! I have never seen an unleaded Mantis. No wonder the little bugger has no guts I know 2 cycle is dirty and I am as tree hugging as the next fellow but when you are asking a motor I can curl to do a real job unleaded is just not going to cut it. To top it all off it was almost out of oil..... which I didn't check before I started it because I assumed it was a 2 cycle like the other dozen or so mantis I have used. hurumph!

Did I ever tell you about the time Brasky went hunting? Well anyway, Brasky decides he's gonna hunt down all four members of the Banana Splits. He stalks and kills every one of them with a machete. They all beg for their lives, except Fleagul.

Not leaded, 2 cycle oil and gas mixed together without a separate lubricant. It allows for very high RPM and is making power every other stroke versus every fourth stroke on straight gas 4 stoke motors. Of course burning all that oil is very polluting. Used to be you could even get a dirt bike in 2 cycle, now its getting harder to find small engines in it. I think all chainsaws are still 2 stroke
