Well my tank crashed sob
sob that sucked lol
i want to try again i think if the bit were new and the drill fully charged and a few other factors we would have success
well i am off to bed night all

Wow that sucks. Did you have water on the area you were driling? Sorry to see it either way. Now you have to get a bigger tank. Its mandatory rule around here...

OK one more time since no one saw my other post  That tank was tempered. It had nothing to do with the bit or the drill...
You can tell because is shattered in little pieces. Had it been a regular glass break, you would have a couple big pieces of really sharp glass
A lot of small tanks are tempered so they can use thinner and less expensive glass and then charge you more

its too bad it broke. i was 3/4 the way through the glass when it shattered. and yes. water was being poured on the bit and glass while being drilled. yes the glass was tempered. still can be drilled though.. just makes it harder.. lol.

Tempered glass can't be drilled. Sorry, but it can't. The tempering process makes the glass stronger but it can't handle the vibration from the drill.
