I need some duct tape. Going to take a styrofoam box and cut it up to make a template for my tank so I can play with some rocks.

i saw the 55 on the list in murry hill.. i have a 55 that i am piecing together right now. i have overflow boxes and think i am going to go that route. i may drill it later but right now that project is on the back burner until i can get some capital in my pockets. i need to order lights and finish a skimmer. still trying to decide on sand. bare bottom just doesn't look right but i've caught my self looking into maybe doing a bb tank just to see if i can get use to the idea

also trying to decide on black sand or regular sand. at $25 per 20lbs of it i need to decide one way or the other .. especially at atleast 120 to 160 lbs of it.. lol.. thats a lot of $$$ i don't have

No matter how hard I try, and how many pictures I see, and how much I read, I just can't bring myself to think I could ever be happy wiht a BB tank. They just don't look natural to me.

Kelli(dobejazz) said she had black sand in her nano tank and she would never do it again. It makes it dark in the tank and was a pain to clean it not being able to see anything in the sand. Something to think about. I think I am going to put sand in my 12G (It has CC in it now).

Trying to decide whether I want to use a sump on my 12G or not. Been testing Phosphates the last few minutes and I think they came from the jugs of NSW I used and then some is coming from my substrate. If I have to empty the tank out to get the substrate and water out, that would be the time for me to drill holes in it if I am going to drill it.
