Flood Update

The river is cresting tomorrow in Noblesville. It's supposed to break July's record...unbelievable. Yesterday it looked fine. Today there is water over some major highways and homes/businesses are once again under water. It didn't rain at all today, and very little yesterday.

We're a mile away, but way higher than the river. Last time, July, it reached one of the entrances to the hospital, 1/2 mi away, and they closed that entrance...pretty weird for sure.

The auto shop we use is again under water, as is the basement of the bait shop where we get minnows for our turtles and lionfish.

Hi Jeff,

It got high, but not as high as in July, and it is going down quickly, it seems.

How do you like the C-5050???

How strongly do you recommend it?

Thanks,
Shirley

Hmmmm,so far, above water,,3 thumbs up! LOL plenty of user friendly modes/settings/adjustments to be made, ez to use/handle. great opticals, 3X optical zoom/10X digital,,,,i put the digital zoom to the test , and it pleased me ,,,,,
i got 256 meg o' XD memory for it,coulda took 200+ pics with it at 5 megapixals,,,3000+ pics set at my old Mavica res.,,,,
glad i got it,,,,,although i need to practice more with it underwater,,Jorge gave me some pointers on using it,,,,
the UW housing(Olympus) made for it utilizes EVERYthing on the camera that can be used above water..
