my wifes family is from maine. the "R" thing drives me nuts..

can't stand it. right now my MIL is staying with us for a visit and i tell ya. every time she talks i want to walk out of the house.
i tried maine. the 2 weeks of summer is pretty. just not worth the 11 months of winter to go with it. i hated it there. but then i hate snow all together.. and cold..
lets just say the 3 years i was there wasn't a plesant experience for me. i could have done without most of it. the only really nice experience that i had in maine was my oldest daughter was born there. other than that it was a complete nightmare from .............. well you get the idea. the wife loves it there. she wants to go back.. she can go back if she wants but i'll stay there in the south where its warm.. lol..

besides.. her family don't really care for me too much.. (i won't live in maine.. lol.. and not sure of the other reasons. but they don't like me the same. not that i really care)
