heh, browser wars create more billable hours for programers doing workarounds like this...
finding some standard for all the browsers would make it much less expensive (and reduce the effort needed) to make both evolution of the internet and growth of the web cheaper, easier, and less time consuming for both web site owners and the programmig geeks that write the code.
...but that would make it easier for competition to cut into the M$ IE market. Just think, without AtiveX, where would IE be? Just wait till you see some of the holes in security for IE 7.0

If I could get a greater percentage of sites to use firefox, I would drop IE for everything but M$ updates... (I really like that M$ icon...
