Final Hour!
I know for alot of people hearing more about when the war will begin and that the US is just looking for a fight or the oil issue! Well I would like everyone to listen to this song! I for one will never forget!

I have not forgotten onr will I ever the sacrafice the ppl who serve in our armed forces.
I want to vent a bit though!!!!
How can ppl protest this war shouldnt we all be behind the decision that the President (that we elected) makes.
I am a firm believer that if you dont vote you cant complain.

amen to that Jeff. I saw an interview with a protestor here in San Diego where the reporter asked this guy why he was protesting. His response was "no comment". Ha ha!!! What an oxymoron. He's protesting, but can't say why!! What an idiot. Too bad it's not illegal to be stupid.
Support our troops.
Support our president.
Support our country.
Matt.

Oh man I really try to keep this off TRT but I find it interesting that all the protestors who seem to think that the US is so ****ed corrupt, evil and out to take over the world, never seem to be on the Iraqi -turk border when saddam gassed the kurds, or in the many places in the world in and out of the middle east when the suicide bombers strike day after day. Protest the murderous Isrealis OK but dont offend any of the 3rd world wackos in power.
Sorry kids, while I have issues with the US government, I still havent seen somewhere else I would rather be. I know a standard answer to the right wing is"oh yah"love it or leave it" " but you arent going to find many places that your dissent is tolerated. I guarentee you wont get over with it in Iraq,N Korea, China, or any of the other darlings of the liberal set

Yes Doug I have issues with our US government as well but to live in USA, there is no better place---------except maybe Australia as that will be the last place I go!!
We need to rid the world of Bin Ladin's and Hussien's of the world! My doctor said we should let Iraq deal with their own problems! Some truth to that but unfortunately terriorists have reached beyond Iraq and Middle East and caused 9/11 to happen and that will not be accepted by the US or other countries backing us!
As far as liberating the Iraq people, this will probably happen but way down the road when we are gone, these people in the Middle East will go back to killing each other over stupid things and nothing will have changed as these people have a mind set from hundreds of years of killing!
I pray for our troops as 5 Americans and 12 British have died in the war as of today!(16 in a helicopter and 1 in a fire fight).

Anyone catch CNN last night? Here in Chicago a bunch of protesters blocked Lakeshore Drive (major downtown rush hour traffic). After a few hours the cops out numbered them and surrounded them so they couldn't leave Most were cold, wet and wanted to use the bathroom but couldn't. After holding traffic hostage for hours they got a taste of their own medicine A few hundred were arrested and are being held until later today because more protests are planned this morning and the police don't want them to join in. The bad part is they are taking away resources from the police when the country is on high alert.

Bob, they were doing the same thing in Portland. Although being Portland, there were some fools who just couldn't contain themselves. Awhile back our fair city had the distinction of being called "Little Beirut." You can bet the Chamber of Commerce doesn't add that to their welcome wagon pamphlet!
At one point while the protestors were being herded along by police they were chanting "This is what a ploce state is like." They don't have a clue; if it was a police state, they wouldn't be chanting....most likely ever again.
