DVD quality

...is awesome. I will never rent a vhs again! The picture, sound, and viewing options all make it better in their own right. But all three make it a no-brainer.

If you're on the fence, take the leap, it's great.

Word Up!

Wait till you see the picture from a progressive scan DVD hooked up to a HDTV! Combine that with 5.1 DTS Digital sound and it is truly amazing. I have a HDTV but the progressive scan DVD was my next purchase BEFORE I sarted my tank. Oh well have to wait.

I unhooked my VHS a long time ago. Once you go DVD you will never go back. In fact a few stores, namely Curcuit City, are strongly considering dropping VHS and only carrying DVD movies.

It's all about the surround sound too! I duck when I'm watching the matrix, saving private ryan or anything with bullets and explosions.
