DVD audio to CD? can it be done?

Wow! just noticed i turned 7000 posts,,,hope some of them were worthwhile here,,,
Back to my original post,,,Does anyone know if the audio from a DVD can be put on a CD-r? as in a "live" concert DVD,,,to a CD-r for listening in the truck and stuff,,,
can it be done "outa the box" from a DVD-r,,,or is there software out that that might do this?
I got a decent DVD burner program, copies DVD's completely with just a discalimer in the beginning,,,(like my CD's , i hate to use the originals,,,in case i scratch one up,,,and ruin it)
Just wondering if audio from DVD,can be copied to CD format,,,thanks

There's lots.
For me, I only burn DVD movies so I mainly use apps like DVD2One and DVDXCopy.

For ripping just the audio from a DVD, you could give DVD Audio Ripper a try. Saw good review on www.download.com

DISCLAIMER: I have never use this app., so I can't vouch for it's effectiveness.
I'm at work so can't test it, but if you can wait, I should be able to confirm if it does what it claims. I will install it on my home computer and give it a whirl and let you know.
