yup, but will not last long,,with the hot/cold of a HVAC system...
The stuff they use is a foil with some kind of peel off backing, with not much applied to the back, but whatever it is will stick ,and stay on sheet metal ducts

You only need 2 things to survive life, Duct tape and WD-40.
If its loose and shouldnt be, Duct tape it
If its stuck and shouldnt be, squirt it with WD-40
