LOL...tough loss this weekend. I understand, I would be in the same frame of mind.
It was an awesome game though, one of the best I have seen in a long time.
By the way...I was wrong taking the over on the "Ice Bowl", but I was right on taking the under on the "empty street shots", I only saw one

Understandable...but I always like to root for the team that beat my team (makes my team look better if the team that beat them wins).

No...not selling out. I said, everyone has doubted them up untill now, so to give them a chance I have to be a doubter That is the only way we can win!!

Well that didn't happen, after watching NE in the play offs I had thought it was a foregone, But Eli fired em off like brady did in the last game, it was a tight edge of seat game tho, I like that

And even if the Pats had won they wouldn't be the only team with a Perfect Season. The '72 Dolphins still hold the distinction of being the only team to do it. The Pats can settle for being one of four teams to finish the Regular Season undefeated.

I have to say...there were a few questionable calls and plays that I thought the G-Men were done...
1. Illegal Batting - um...is this even a penalty...I want to see the NFL rule book, someone please show me where this is even a rule. I have seen guys kick it out of the endzone before?!?
2. That pass that Eli missed to Burress - OMG...I almost fell out of my chair!
3. The Hail Mary in the Endzone - Vrable tackles Steve Smith before the ball gets there and there is no penalty?!?!
4. Has anyone ever seen a coach challenge a NON-CALLED penalty?!?! How does Bellicheck get away with this crap?!? If this can be done, there could be a challenge on every play (holding, pass interference, etc...)

Yes. The difference between what happened and kicking it out of the end zone is the direction that you are kicking and/or batting the ball.
The commentators explained that play, and the penalty, better than I ever could.

Brady to - everybody. Brady did it all game. Overthrow, underthrows.

If you are talking about the play I think you are, that wasn't pass interference, it was just good double coverage on an underthrown ball.

Yes. It happened quite frequently in the NFL. The challenge isn't a "Penalty Challenge", it is a "Replay Challenge". The coach is challenging a call made on the field. Either a direct call or the lack of a call. The lack of a call is considered a call for the purposes of the Challenge. The referees decided it was a legitimate play and Bellicheck challenged it.
What spoke volumes about the Patriots was the last 45 seconds of the game. The panicked. 45 seconds and 3 timeouts. The commentators said it best:
"For Eli Manning, that is going to be the longest 45 seconds of his life."
"For Tom Brady, that is an eternity."
What really disappointed me about Bellichick is that with 1 second left, he went out to mid field and did the congratulations. Then, when they said that they had to run one more play, by rules, he didn't have enough class to stay on the field until the game was over.
