What's funny is that my mother did the same thing on her house in Charleston... and people wonder why I have 2 380s

I hope you don't feel like you were singled out Jeremiah, Political humor is hard to regulate, and usually gets squelched early to prevent it from becoming a debate. Part of what makes this so funny is that I know the person who started it is usually on the other end of the spectrum from me, but then again I love redneck humor. Notice how as the thread drifts from to original point they manage to work food into the conversation
Its all in fun, and I hope you arent mad

I find that the most humorous events are not necessarily events that were intended to be humorous, rather that the humor is in the details of the settings, not the events themselves.

This makes politics and the "politics" of politics ripe for the picking.

btw, although I own a handgun, I am apolitical on their ownership or restriction of them, so long as no one tries to restrict my right to own one... not that I have a stand on that either, I just like to target practice occasionally. I like living in a well-protected home, as my dog would chase any house invaders down, only to make sure that they take the remote with the TV...

I am not sure but if she had a brace of fly swatters with her red locks that would be a sight worse than her hands on her hips upset at me.

I lived in Idaho for a year and have a bejillion guns now...all with trigger locks in a gunsafe. Blitz the wonder dog shall have to protect the house in addition to giving wet willies to the late risers. If only dogs had opposable thumbs to get the ice cubes out of the trays they would truly be of use.

Growing up in Montana we used a .380 to shoot water bugs! Then in first grade my Grandpa gave me a 300 H&H mag! Shot lizards with that one!

In all honesty the first thing I ever shot was an old 8 guage Ithica my Great Grandma gave to my Great Grandpa when they got married. I was six and all my Aunts and Uncles gathered round to watch me get nocked square on my butt and then laughed till they fell on thier butts. That taught me to respect guns early. Last year my Son shot a .44 first, and I tell ya what, he sure handeled the .22 very carefully after that.

I want some good old fried chicken. Dang Im hungry!

I will have you know that James Bond used a .380 quite well. A Walther is still an example of fine craftmanship to this day.

As another with the same surname I request that you pick on another caliber for a while....like a 20 gauge shotgun shell or something, or a .25 round.

Oh yeah Motorslave..my buddy took his 16 year old daughter to the range and snuck in a .357 round in with a bunch of .38's and brought her to tears. The next weekend we went shooting clay pigeons and his daughter and I "accidently" loaded a 3 1/2" 000 buck round into my Remington 870 Super Express for him in the middle of all those dove loads. Paybacks are a *****.

oops dang language filter...well all those stars rhyme with Niche.
