do you ever have
ok..so do you guys ever have those days where things are off and you dont know why???
yesterday i was in such a bad mood. i wasnt cranky towards ppl but i knew i was off. i didnt say much just felt blah..today i kinda feel the same way.
i know some of it is because im super tired... because a co worker decided to not come in the past 3 days which i had to cover her shift..plus go do my side job afterwards.. which makes for a long day waking up at 4am and going to bed at 11pm.
i guess i just wanted to tell someone...and its you guys

My YEAR has been like that
Hired an electrician to convert my service feed to the house to a buried feed. Also decided to replace the breaker panel.
I spent a couple hours tracing & verifying circuits because he didn't bother to write down the old number = new number
Now I have to spend another couple hours rewiring the breaker panel beacuse he did a poor job. I went to look for my heavy duty wire cutters - $30 - they are gone. They were in the room when he started work. Called his house, he is in Mexico on vacation until Saturday
Hired a plumber to do work, extend 3/4" feed to 2nd floor & fix a leak
He did a lot of work, leak was still leaking, he reduced the 3/4" feed to 1/2" then went to 3/4" to get to 2nd floor
Towns/Inspectors wonder WHY people DIY without a permit
When you pay $3k for a plumber, then $4500 for an electrician - THEN have to go redo work they did!! That's why people DIY
Sorry just PO'd about this
I fixed the leak myself & moved pipes that he wanted an additonl $1500 to move. I do have my own permit for the work I'm doing, I pull a permit for everything. I was hoping for my rough Inspection today/tomorrow, but with the EXTRA work that I PAID other people to do that I now have to fix = Inspection postponed another month
Means 2nd floor won't be insulated until late November now

How about spending a lot of money on NEW quality items that break or don't work.
Qosmio Laptop - $2500 - Video has died twice on it been repaired twice
Garmin GPSMap60CS - $450 Used 2 weeks stopped working - exchanged
Weekend Warrior RV- $35000 6 Months old, new fridge, generator, fuel pump, roof leaks, back to manufacturer 1000 miles away 2 times for roof repairs
2005 Chev Suburban 3/4 ton - $42000 Squeeking belts and front brake pulsing, been in shop 3 times
Refractometer - $60 used 4 times, eye piece falling off
and on and on.
Nothing I buy seems to work

I am grumpy, ticked off, or on the warpath at least once a week. That is what happens when a busy active person works with a bunch of lazy idiots... not all of them, just enough to make life hard sometimes.

Sara we all have crappy days. I have the luxury of a job where no one knows what I do and can screw off and vanish. Eventually you will blow them off and have enough "A" days to more than compensate.
No one is on it all the time.

Yup, just gotta take the bad with the good,,,,problem is, when i have a good stretch of great days,,,I start to wonder when the bad ones are gonna start up,,,and tend to bring them on ,by mentally inviting them ,,,
