Diving in the Keys

I have never been to the Keys but realy want to. Is there a cheep place to go diving in the keys and a cheep place to stay. any sugestions?

Best i can tell you ,,,check on-line for dive shops/accomodations where you think you might want to be at , in the Keys... check their prices,and also check to see if some of these places are still actually still in business, since a number of them closed shop from last years storms,,,,
A lot of place offer dive/accomodations packages,if you dive with them, they cut you a deal of the diving and place to stay,,,,,
I'm really only familiar with some of the upper Keys,and mostly middle Keys dive shops, I've hardly ever dove south of the 7 Mile Bridge.
Hopefully someone else here will chime in and help you out w/ more info,,,,

Thats the same place I was gonna suggest. Rates are pretty good. I'm going for the first time this winter.

The last time I was down there was in 2000 I think, they always had pretty good live music on the weekends I hope to get down there again soon. maybe next year

Thanks for the info my wife is going to get her cert. to dive there. then maybe i can get her to dive some of the places i dive
