i know my laptop i have gone and hiden everything on my desktop.

So that my screen looks completely bare. Only thing on my screen is the background. no icons on my screen. I have moved them to the task bar by the start menu. and have put all the extra icons into one folder called extra. so that the task bar doesn't get to full of icons. i only have i think about 5 or 6 icons that wont go into the extra folder.

I have also taken out the names of the icons and title of the toolbar so that only the pics are there for the icons and i work from that. just like the quick launch feature by the clock, except that i dont like the quick launch feature. i have been told the reason why it's the quick launch, is because it actualy launches the programes in the background and more or less minimizes them for you to think that i quickly launches them but atcualy just maximizes them. More stuff for the prosesor to deal with and slow down your computer.

Thats what i do and i have XP

Way too easy it turns out. Just move everything to a safe home then right click on the background and hit hide icons.

Easy peasy and I have a gorgeous tank shot showing now.
