Please Doug stop, I can't work with tears in my eyes and today we have people visiting the plant!
Great to hear Sara, I won't stop my girl or my boy from moving out, but it is going to feel strange not having them. When I first came to Az, my family stayed back in In for about 6 months, it was the loneliest time of my life. I could not function, I miss them (and my wife also) so much, I felt like I was having a dream and I could wake up any minute. When I was a bachelor for a few years and it was great, but knowing life with them to not having them around is very hard.

its just nice to see that there are still "family" ppl out there.. there are not many ppl who voice it, show it, or even care about it.
getting married was one of the best things in my life.
my parents live like 5 mins away..his parents like 15 mins away. so we always stay in touch.. most generally your true family - they will always be there for you no matter what..and so you end up spending a lot of time with them.
i almost would have to say that my relationship with my dad might be a little closer...of course because i was spoiled.. but i wasnt a brat. but if you ask my dad..im not spoiled just well taken care of.
but i love my whole family
just nice to see it around

Yes 4 kids, all adults now. Today is a special day for us!!!! We have our 2
Granddaughters 2 and 4. It is the first time we have had them all day. Our daughter has already called checking on them. We are so blessed. I did have to threaten a guy when she was 17, within an inch of his life. Good for him, which was all it took. Look all, it does go by fast. Yea, ya have heard that before. So did we.
Great date app.

I'm with you on this one. No matter how much I feed her, or how much chicken greese I put in her face-creames, she's still a beautiful young lady, and I HATE it! Can't she be hideous/ugly until she's like 21 or something?
But as much as it sucks sometimes, i LOVE when she yells at me cause her new guy friend that she brought home is scared to death of me.
I truly think that's music to my ears!!!
But I guess all this pain is just the "bitter" before the "sweet" of someday having those wonderful additions to life known as grandkids! hehehe

ROTFLMAO........Do i have a coupla stories about that one. Her boyfriend right now is 17(just turned), hes kinda immature and the age difference is fine IOO (OUR opinion), regardless, hes old enough that i REALLY can intimidate the crap out of him.

Its great to see father's out there that are really still involved in their daughter/sons lives... I have grown up in areas of divorced familys and most kids not speaking to either mother or father... In my case i have not seen or spoke to my father in 4 years and thats his choice... Unfortunaly from my mom she has to go through the marriage thing 3 times, unfortunaly for me i am the only girls so i get grilled alot more then my brothers hahahaha... cant go out with the where are you goin... how long you goin to be... etc etc (and I am 22!!! HAHA and yes living with mom still ... Its cheap rent!! haha) But deep down its all good... But it is great to see ( I know not all familys are divoriced and that but seems to be more and more up here in the great white north haha)

I just saw on MSN that the married couples have became a minority in the US.
You are right, it is sad to see that.

My town a few years back led the entire nation in teen pregnancy. Wonder what the marriageable age is around here. Seems like you are an old maid at 20.
